Role Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality computed tomography imaging services, adhering to established standards and practices.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Supervisor and Director of Outpatient Imaging.
Employment Classification:
Non-exempt
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. Completion of a Radiologic Technology program is required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Must hold AZ MRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist and Certified Computed Tomography Technologist. The original certification must be presented at the facility prior to employment commencement. Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R) and (CT) is required.
Skills Required:
Critical thinking and decisive judgment are essential. The ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment is necessary.
Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital setting focusing on CT is preferred.
