Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team for a travel assignment in Albany, New York.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care. As a CT Tech, you will work closely with our team to deliver outstanding medical imaging services.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Tech.
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
