We are seeking a talented Staff Systems Engineer to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. This role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in systems engineering principles and practices, as well as experience in developing and presenting briefing slides to senior leaders and executive level personnel.

The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or other STEM-related field and 12 years of experience in a related engineering field. They will also have active or current TS/SCI clearance and prior aerospace-related work experience for a U.S Government Agency or Contractor.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers in the definition, planning, and execution of methodologies to test, verify, and validate system requirements.
  • Capturing core concepts and instructional needs from large amounts of technical data (ground and space hardware) and communicating technical concepts to non-subject matter experts.
  • Leading demonstration and delivery of mission effects during operations and providing long-term sustainment and mission augmentation support over the life of the mission.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or other STEM-related field.
  • 12 years of experience in a related engineering field.
  • Active or current TS/SCI clearance.
  • Prior aerospace-related work experience for a U.S Government Agency or Contractor.
