Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate at Timberland, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, store, and dispatch goods in a safe and efficient manner. This will involve checking incoming goods for damage and discrepancies, accurately sorting and labeling items, and arranging storage to optimize warehouse space. You will also be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Additionally, you will be required to enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records and retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies
Accurately sort, label, and store goods in a safe and efficient manner
Arrange storage to optimize warehouse space
Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders
Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records
Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education; Associate's degree preferred
One year of experience preferred
Basic level of education will be required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy
Required to follow simple instructions
No formal occupational training required
Non-office based roles may operate some simple equipment under guidance and instruction

Working Conditions

Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Stand for long periods of time and walk frequently
Work in a team environment with limited supervision

Benefits

Competitive hourly rate: $16.50 - $20.63 USD per hour
