Job Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to join our Manufacturing Engineering department. The successful candidate will assist in achieving manufacturing goals and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in industrial engineering and make a meaningful impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and update work instructions, routings, and bills of materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Improve material handling methods to reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Perform time studies to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Develop methods in fabrication and machining processes to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Perform workstation/cell analyses to improve productivity and quality.
  • Provide technical support to production personnel and assist with plant layout and workstation design.
  • Learn and use ERP manufacturing software to streamline processes and improve data management.
  • Create documentation for new product launches and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or other related Engineering field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Working knowledge or exposure to JD Edwards and Lean concepts.
  • Experience in welding, machining, or fabrication, and proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software.
