Job Description

As a Research Nurse at Children's National Hospital, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Division of Nursing's Performance Improvement process at the division or unit level.
  • Conducting and managing research projects within federal and institutional regulations and policies under the direction of the principal investigator.
  • Using research funds and resources appropriately and maintaining confidentiality of data as required.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of all research-related procedures and outcomes.

You will also be responsible for integrating patient data to anticipate problems associated with changing patient status, collecting data from various sources to develop and revise research activities, and acting as an advocate for patient and family needs related to research protocols.

A competitive salary of $95,000 - $115,000 per year is offered, depending on experience.
