Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Armorer to join our team at BSA Summit Group. As an Armorer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing firearms, as well as ensuring the safety and security of our range and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue, receive, and maintain accountability of all firearms and ammunition
  • Deliver firearms, ammunition, and equipment to the range using a company vehicle
  • Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on firearms
  • Develop and implement a maintenance and inspection program for firearms
  • Submit parts orders to the Program Manager
  • Utilize a computer to enter and verify data regarding specific firearms and develop reports
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • 2+ years' experience in an armorer role or gunsmithing degree/industry certification
  • NRA Certified Range Safety Officer (training provided)
  • NRA Certified Instructor (Rifle and Shotgun) (training provided)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting the needs of a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work-related communication and coordination
