About Us:

We are an alternative investment platform based in the Southeast, focusing on real estate and private credit and equity strategies. Our firm manages multiple funds aimed at directly originated investments in real estate and private credit for lower middle market enterprises.

Position Overview:

The Private Credit & Equity Associate role is integral to our investment strategy. The firm is actively deploying capital from a significant Private Credit & Equity Fund, targeting companies with substantial earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) through various investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and analyzing potential investment opportunities
  • Conducting comprehensive business due diligence, including both qualitative and quantitative evaluations
  • Preparing investment memoranda and presentations for stakeholders
  • Developing leveraged buyout financial models
  • Monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, including financial reviews and valuations
  • Supporting various strategic and operational initiatives

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A strong commitment to integrity and ethical standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail

Experience:
The candidate should have:
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in private credit, equity, finance, investment banking, or consulting
  • A Bachelor's Degree with a commendable academic record
