Job Summary

Premise Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough nursing assessments, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to arrange for further medical treatment when needed.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications administered, discharge instructions provided, and follow-up care arranged.
  • Health Education and Promotion: Evaluate health education/promotion needs of patients and provide necessary training and instruction.
  • Emergency Response: Identify emergency situations and provide care within the legal scope of practice.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a physician or licensed independent practitioner.
  • Environmental Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control procedures.
  • Confidentiality and Patient Privacy: Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information.
  • Follow-up and Communication: Participate in follow-up phone calls and patient visits.
Requirements
  • Certification and Licensure: Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
  • Education and Training: Certificate from an accredited nursing school or Associate's degree (A.S.) required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic; knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software; knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
