Job Summary
The Geriatric Nurse Specialist provides direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, performing resident assessments, and participating in daily rounds. This role requires effective communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
* Assess resident needs and make recommendations for care adjustments
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
* Provide education and support to residents and their families

Qualifications and Requirements
* Active Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment required
* One year of experience working in Geriatric or Long-Term Care settings preferred
* Active CPR certification preferred
