Position Overview:
The Department of Pediatrics at Ballad Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatologist to enhance our esteemed division. This role is available at the academic ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Professor, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The Neonatologist will be responsible for:

  • Delivering comprehensive clinical care within a 39-bed Level III NICU.
  • Supervising in-house nurse practitioners and managing outpatient high-risk neonatal follow-up.
  • Engaging in the education of medical students and pediatric residents.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and academic research.

Our facility sees over 800 NICU admissions annually, supported by efficient air and ground transport systems. Additionally, a collaborative perinatology division is available for maternal evaluation and management through our Obstetrics and Gynecology department.
