About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Sawgrass Complete Dentistry. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent patient care and support to our dental team, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Assist dentists during various procedures, adhering to strict safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
  • Manage patient scheduling and record-keeping using Dentrix software.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Partner with our team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
