Job Description:
As a Middleware Engineer with AWS experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting new and existing software systems and applications for internal and external use. Your primary functions will include analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of software systems and applications.

Responsibilities:
Lead and influence technical direction for large-scale, highly complex technical initiatives and projects requiring integration of cross-functional systems. Provide technical guidance in evaluating middleware systems or evaluating requests for proposals. Responsibilities include application integration into JEE instances, JVM tuning to optimize application resource usage, JEE component packaging, and infrastructure design using industry best practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. At least 5 years of Java J2EE development experience, hands-on troubleshooting, and deployment experience. Solid knowledge of PowerShell. Experience with Ansible, AWS, and AEM is preferred. OpenShift Administration Experience is also preferred. Must have the ability to listen to customers and colleagues, convey ideas effectively, and prepare written documentation. Proactive in nature with customer satisfaction as a primary goal. AWS certification is required.

What Else:
Experience with Seeburger is mandatory. In-depth knowledge and experience with Java J2EE, WebSphere Application Server, JBoss EAP, Tomcat, Apache, Node.js, and Microsoft.NET hosting and IIS. Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. Ability to lead and mentor associate developers. In-depth knowledge and support of middleware products on AWS for both EC2 and containerized instances.
