Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Dermatologist to join our Department of Dermatology.
As an academic referral center, we train medical students and residents. Our department is comprised of 11 residents and 13 faculty members, including one Pediatric Dermatologist. A Dermatopathology Fellowship is offered through the Pathology department.
We are affiliated with Texas A&M College of Medicine and will transition to Baylor College of Medicine with the establishment of a new Temple BCM campus starting in 2023.
The position involves patient care and teaching. Patient care will occur in Pediatric Dermatology outpatient clinics within the Dermatology free-standing clinic and shared call coverage for inpatient consultations at McLane Children's Hospital.
The hospital features 112 patient beds and a 24-hour, level II pediatric emergency department. Opportunities to perform basic dermatologic surgery and laser surgery are available.
