Pharmacist - PRN Specialist

DLH Corporation, a leading provider of federal government services, is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to support our nation's veterans in a closed-pharmacy production facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy through thorough assessment and cross-matching.
- Compound and dispense medications in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to quality standards.
- Pre-verify medications loaded into mechanical equipment to ensure seamless processing.
- Verify and fill Controlled Substance orders, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Graduate of an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university.
- Hold a valid and unrestricted Pharmacist License in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of one year of recent (within the past two years) practical pharmacist experience.
- Ability to obtain VetPro certification (credentialing system required of all VHA health care providers).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communications and ability to read and communicate in English.
- Be able to lift 30 pounds and stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Meet all regular hours and overtime hours required by the facility.
