The Resident Monitor is a critical role within our lodge/shelter facility, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the Lodge/Shelter Facility: Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
- Process Guest Mail: Sort, distribute, and manage guest mail in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate Effectively: Respond to emergencies, communicate with guests and staff, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Input data into Clarity, maintain communication logs, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of experience in security or social services, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Ability to Perform Physical Tasks: Sit, stand, and walk frequently, with occasional lifting and carrying of light objects (less than 35 lbs.).
