As an Employment Consultant, you will assist individuals in discovering their interests and securing employment in the community, from initial exploration to successful placement. Your dedication and expertise will make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalized employment plans for clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
- Conduct job assessments and provide guidance on career development, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to identify job opportunities and promote our clients' skills and abilities.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to clients, ensuring their successful transition into employment and addressing any challenges that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including case management and support services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or coursework preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a TB test, drug screen, and comprehensive background check.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office programs.
