About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiology equipment and perform routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established standards and practices.
  • Perform radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting and computing settings for each patient, demonstrating a thorough understanding of radiologic principles and theory.
  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans, utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete documentation as required, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field or completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Experience: Minimum of experience obtained through the completion of a Radiology Technology Program.
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: ARRT(R) certification and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
