Job DescriptionWe're seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Growth Product team, responsible for driving user retention through data insights and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
As a Data Scientist, you'll design and oversee product experiments, own complex analysis, and develop models to understand user engagement, causal effects, and new user ecosystems.
You'll define and own the ways we measure success for the team, working closely with product, engineering, and design teams to develop and deliver metrics, analyses, solutions, and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experiment design and execution
- Developing and sharing key strategic insights through data analysis
- Causal inference studies to understand user behavior and acquisition patterns
- Building scalable metrics and dashboards to inform product strategy
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to support product development efforts
Requirements:
- 7+ years of data science and product analytics experience, with at least 2+ years leading teams technically
- MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, operations research, computer science, or economics
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Python programming, and common scientific computing packages
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and explain complex problems to different audiences
