Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation solutions using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
  • Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in Linux systems administration and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
