We are seeking an experienced VMware expert to lead our private cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and managing VMware environments, automating VM provisioning, integrating APIs, and extracting data from vCenter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related infrastructure in a private cloud environment.
  • Configure and optimize VMware environments for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Automate VM provisioning using VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) or other tools.
  • Integrate VMware APIs with other systems, developing scripts for automated tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other languages.
  • Collaborate with the automation team to implement efficient workflows and integrations.
  • Extract data from vCenter and other VMware tools for capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) or other tools.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall infrastructure efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and related technologies.
  • Expertise in VMware automation tools, such as vRealize Automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python.
  • Experience with private cloud infrastructure and management.
  • VMware VCP-DCV or higher certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
