Responsibilities:

  • Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Permitting entry and obtaining help by sounding alarms as needed.
  • Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
  • Identifying risks and notifying appropriate management authority or 911/Police.
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Maintaining a written log of all daily activities per shift.
