Job Summary

JobsRUs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scale Clerk to join our team. As a Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for weighing trucks, grading grain, and operating a PLC program. You will also be responsible for data entry, answering phone calls, and filing documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weigh trucks and grade grain in a timely and accurate manner
  • Operate a PLC program to ensure efficient and accurate weighing processes
  • Enter data into our system to track and record weighing and grading activities
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • File and retain documents in a secure and organized manner
  • Maintain a clean and neat workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Commitment to a zero injury culture and understanding of company safety procedures
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, and use of office equipment
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional image and positive attitude
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
