Job OverviewThis 12-hour per day, night shift position is located in Glens Falls, NY and requires the ability to float to other units as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medical Surgical care, with experience in Oncology Care and End Of Life Care being highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history, preferences, and goals.
- Assess patient conditions and intervene promptly to prevent complications, utilizing critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
- Foster a culture of empathy and compassion, promoting a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in current Med Surg, with a strong emphasis on Medical Surgical care.
- EPIC experience is mandatory; Peritoneal Dialysis training is preferred.
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications are required.
- New York license and a permanent address are also necessary for this role.
