Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Job Description:
Reporting to the Renewable Solutions Group Manager, this position will support the development of solar projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Key responsibilities include:
- Sales and business development: Work directly with McClure's established sales and business development teams to qualify and originate project opportunities.
- Due diligence activities: Support site origination, site control, project permitting, utility interconnection, and development of long-term relationships with stakeholders.
- Effective communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, community members, and internal teams to facilitate project permitting and other initiatives.
- Budget management: Manage development schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems or similar field.
- At least 1 year of experience working in the energy industry.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, Helioscope, AutoCAD.
