Key Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys throughout the litigation process. Your duties will encompass:
- Assisting attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings, particularly in defense civil litigation.
- Conducting thorough legal research and factual investigations.
- Drafting essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.
- Reviewing, organizing, and analyzing intricate legal documents.
- Coordinating the collection, review, and production of relevant documents.
- Communicating with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
- Managing case files and maintaining case calendars.
- Ensuring the systematic and organized storage of all case-related documents.
- Assisting in the formulation of case strategies and trial themes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Expertise in hearing and trial preparation.
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or an equivalent legal qualification.
- Strong understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures.
- Exceptional research and writing capabilities.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
