Job Title: Electronics Technician II

R&D Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician II to join our team in Columbus, MS. As an Electronics Technician II, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic control devices and systems in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Follow up repairs to ensure the performed work effectiveness.
  • Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to technical manuals, using hand and power tools.
  • Service and operate a variety of electronic repair tools and testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot all systems to the component level.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Calibrate and perform adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs.
  • Verify the correct functioning of tools, instruments, parts, and accessories checking they fulfill specifications.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance activities.
  • Update information in the maintenance systems and perform maintenance reports.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and formal training in electrical or electronic work.
  • 5 years in the industrial electronics field or 2-3 years of experience in the electrical field plus 2-3 years in the industrial electronics field.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
