Job Title: Contractual Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Contractual Therapist to join our team at Ennis Center.

Job Summary:

The Contractual Therapist will provide therapeutic services to assigned caseloads, working with consumers and their families in the home and community. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling activities, developing treatment goals and working to develop positive relationships.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to the latent and manifest content of consumer responses, providing support and feedback regarding their therapeutic needs.
  • Define the needs or problems of assigned consumers and set goals, differentially determining appropriate interventions strategies and implementing them accordingly.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and alter intervention plans as needed.
  • Assess consumers for appropriateness of group treatment and type of group intervention, facilitating treatment groups that focus on issues directly related to the group's purpose.
  • Attend conferences and other meetings related to each assigned case, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all required reports, logs, notes, and other paperwork.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all Agency-required reports, paperwork, and filings.
  • Perform other Agency-related duties as assigned.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Promote a positive working environment within the Agency.
  • Maintain professional and respectful demeanor with Agency employees, consumers, visitors, and the public.
  • Actively participate in training, staff meetings, and Agency activities as required.
  • Participate in special projects or additional assignments as required.
  • Comply with the Agency's Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all matters related to Agency affairs.
