Baseball Coaching Volunteer

Position Overview:
As a volunteer coach for the baseball program, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring student-athletes in their development and appreciation of the sport.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized coaching to enhance participants' skills and performance.
- Organize and oversee regular practice sessions and meetings throughout the season.
- Support the head coach in managing equipment, supplies, and uniforms effectively.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and recognition events organized by the athletic department.
- Suggest necessary repairs or purchases of equipment and supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including rosters and emergency contact information.
- Complete accident reports when required.
- Ensure a safe environment for all participants during practices and events.
- Uphold discipline and appropriate conduct among participants, implementing penalties for any violations of established standards.
- Attend relevant rules meetings to stay informed on regulations.
- Obtain certification in AED, CPR, and First Aid.

Location:
Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District

Qualifications:
- Evidence of teaching certification or approval from relevant athletic associations.
- Familiarity with the fundamental skills of baseball.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
- Successful completion of the rules examination for the sport.
- Certification in coaching education programs.

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to engage with the school community and promote a positive athletic environment.
