Pennoni, a leading consulting engineering firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Highway Engineer to join their Transportation Division in Lehigh Valley, PA.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in transportation engineering, including PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit preparation and review, roadway design, drainage design, ADA ramp design, maintenance and protection of traffic plans, pavement marking and signing layouts, and pavement section design and review.

Required attributes include experience/knowledge of PennDOT publications and design standards, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, and a minimum of 2-5 years of work experience. A Professional Engineer license in PA is preferred.

Computer skills required include basic knowledge of PennDOT's electronic permitting system (EPS), familiarity with current design standards (PennDOT, AASHTO), and efficient use of applicable engineering software (StormCAD; Hydraflow Hydrographs; Hydraflow Storm Sewers; VTPSUHM, etc.).

Preferred attributes include strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments, strong work ethic, and a willingness to work on a variety of assignments.
