About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at US Southern Command. As an ESS Security Analyst for the Joint DoDIN Operations Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks. Your expertise in cybersecurity planning, threat detection, and incident response will be crucial in protecting our assets from cyber threats.

About the Job: The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with experience in endpoint security, data loss prevention, and malware protection. You will work closely with internal teams and external resources to identify and mitigate potential threats. Your ability to analyze complex security incidents and develop effective mitigation strategies will be key to your success in this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT security, preferably in endpoint security.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations.


Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
