Meat Apprentice Job Description

At Neimann Foods, we're committed to providing our customers with the highest quality meat products. As a Meat Apprentice, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meat Cutting and Preparation: Learn how to read cutting lists and cut all primal cuts to specific techniques, ensuring precision and consistency in our meat products.
  • Meat Processing: Develop skills in grinding meats and rotating product properly, maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.
  • Meat Department Operations: Operate wrapping scales and other machinery in the Meat Department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of meat products.
  • Meat Receiving and Processing: Receive and process meat shipments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
  • Meat Case Maintenance: Maintain meat cases and fill cases/stocks with meat products, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked display for our customers.
