We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at The Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in developing and administering occupational therapy treatment programs designed to improve function, reduce pain, prevent disabilities, and promote the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy treatment according to an established treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, referring physicians, and the therapy treatment team.
  • Maintain patient records confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit patient charges accurately to provide appropriate billing information.
  • Comply with Pennsylvania State Physical Therapy Act, codes, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license or license eligible.
  • Outpatient experience preferred, not required.
  • CPR certification is required.
