This role represents a critical part of maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers. Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, ensuring regular attendance, and performing various janitorial tasks such as floor maintenance, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
Responsibilities- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Maintain floors through scrubbing, stripping, polishing, and re-glossing
- Operate scrub machine and buffing machine
- Empty trash inside and outside the store
- Clean windows
- Clean break rooms, restrooms, and manager's office
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Prepare linens for laundry pick-up
- Change light bulbs
Training will be provided at store level. This role requires physical stamina, including bending, stooping, handling cleaning chemicals, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Working on feet for extended periods is also required.
Additional Requirements - Internal Candidates- Minimum six months employment with Schnucks (for Store/Facility Teammates)
- Minimum one year employment with Schnucks (for Store Support Center Teammates)
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- Manager approval based on performance for interview invitation
$18-22 per hour, depending on experience and location. This estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the requirements and responsibilities of the position.
