American Traveler is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate a CT scanner for a 10-week assignment in Iowa.



About the Job

This role requires a professional with expertise in radiologic technology, specifically in CT scanning. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients, operating the CT scanner, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a CT scanner to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and dosing
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a current professional license as required by the state and proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Additionally, you should have valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Specialty-related certifications are preferred but may not be required.



Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, based on a 12-hour shift schedule and 36 hours per week. This amount may vary depending on individual circumstances.
