Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. This individual will be responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing new telecommunication products, including the implementation of DSP algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new telecommunication products to drive business growth
  • Implement DSP algorithms, develop drivers and APIs, and design O&M functions
  • Develop Linux device drivers and debug in user space and kernel
  • Work on various projects and products from conceptual design to implementation
  • Debug network issues with TCP/IP protocols

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar degree, MS in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional work experience in embedded Linux environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with embedded software design and implementation for Linux platforms
  • Knowledgeable and skilled with TCP/IP protocols
  • Strong skills with C/C++ programming in an embedded Linux Environment
  • Knowledge and experience with FPGA and DSP

Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional domestic travel estimated at about 10%
  • Occasional after-hours work particularly during product trials
