Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe nursing care to patients
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room setting
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
