Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse operates under the guidance of the Nurse Director/Manager, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care for a variety of patient populations. Key duties include:
  • Assessing the needs of patients and their families
  • Developing and prioritizing patient care goals
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of care delivery
  • Continuously updating care plans to address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of patients and families
  • Delegating care responsibilities to optimize patient outcomes

The RN is expected to comply with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
  • Current Kansas RN Licensure
  • Current BLS certification upon hire
  • Telemetry, ICU, and PCU require ACLS; Post-Surgical requires Chemo certification, to be completed within the first year of employment
  • 2-Year Degree
  • Specific certifications must be obtained within one year of hire

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-Year Degree
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a comparable healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
