Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to serve as Educational Support Specialists. In this capacity, you will collaborate with students and educators, delivering essential assistance in diverse educational environments.

Position Details:

  • Work Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
  • Employment Duration: Academic year
  • Compensation: $24 per hour
  • Work Environment: On-site
  • Available Positions: Multiple openings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized or small group academic assistance (reading, writing, mathematics, etc.)
  • Support students with special needs or disabilities during classroom activities
  • Apply behavior management strategies and foster social skill enhancement
  • Work in conjunction with educators on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Track and report on student progress

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPI or Right Response Training

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Willingness to provide one-on-one support and assist in classrooms
  • Adaptability to changes in school site assignments as necessary
  • Comfortable working with the special education population
