Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Child Mind Institute. As a key member of our Learning and Development Center, you will have the opportunity to participate in comprehensive neuropsychological and academic evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults with various concerns.

Our team provides thorough assessments that include language or learning disorders, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and other conditions affecting school functioning. We also offer early childhood evaluations, remediation services, public workshops, and school consultation regarding accommodations and interventions for our students.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills in neuropsychological assessment, prior experience in providing cognitive remediation or school consultation, and demonstrated expertise in psychological evaluations, autism assessments, and working with complex comorbid presentations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological and academic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide multidisciplinary care
  • Supervise and train post-doctoral neuropsychology trainees
  • Engage in professional writing and public speaking
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology
  • Completion of an APA-approved clinical pre-doctoral internship
  • Completion of post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology
  • Current New York State psychology license
