Position OverviewAs an Aerospace Maintenance Technician, you will join our Production team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance and scale our manufacturing processes to integrate our systems into a broader fleet of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assembly, diagnostics, inspections, and maintenance of products designed by Reliable Robotics, including line replaceable units (LRUs) and interconnects.
- Implement modifications, including the fabrication and installation of our automated aviation systems.
- Perform routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance to uphold aircraft safety and operational readiness.
- Maintain comprehensive records of aircraft installations, maintenance activities, and modifications.
- Participate in design reviews, collaborating with Responsible Engineers (REs) to assess designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, inspectability, and compliance with requirements.
- Ensure product and process quality by testing finished products and establishing manufacturing standards.
- Oversee operational processes, including tool control and management of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
- Possession of a current FAA-issued Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics license.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in small aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with turbine-engine aircraft maintenance.
- Experience in general fabrication and modification.
- Familiarity with Cessna 208B Grand Caravan.
- Knowledge of Fixed Base Operator (FBO) operations and regulations under 14 CFR Part 43 and Part 145.
- Experience in fabricating and modifying wire harnesses and aerospace connectors.
- Possession of private or commercial pilot ratings.
- Experience with maintenance and rigging of P&W PT6A Engines/Airframes.
