Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a leading manufacturer in the motor coach sector in North America, is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Electrical Technician. This role is crucial for executing electrical system programming, wiring, connections, and troubleshooting across our fleet of coaches. No previous experience in this specific role is required—we are committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical testing and diagnostics on coaches to swiftly identify and rectify issues.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit boards, and various electrical devices.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations concerning electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and team members to troubleshoot and resolve intricate electrical challenges.
- Utilize specialized equipment to inspect and test electrical systems.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative electrical systems and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and other electrical-related tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for technical training in electrical systems.
- Experience as an Electrical Technician in the automotive or a related field is considered advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical components and systems.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- On-the-job training (experience preferred but training available)
