SAGE, a leading national truck driver training school, is seeking a qualified CDL Instructor to join our team. As a CDL Instructor, you will play a critical role in training the next generation of professional truck drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Teach CDL training courses to students, focusing on safe driving practices and regulatory compliance.
- Assess student performance and provide guidance on improving driving skills.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Meet the minimum qualifications for interstate tractor-trailer drivers, including physical and driver qualification standards.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum two (2) years of practical trucking-related experience demonstrating instructional competency.
- A safe CDL A driving record as determined by the SAGE Safety Department.
- Knowledge/Skill: Demonstrated knowledge of safe truck driving principles and practices, as well as laws and regulations covering tractor-trailer interstate operations.
