Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret the scope of work for each quoting package, ensuring effective communication with Program Management.
  • Organize and structure customer Bills of Material (BOM), following established processes for data management.
  • Facilitate the entire material quoting process, reviewing customer specifications to identify additional requirements related to pricing and costs.
  • Engage with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and delivery timelines based on customer material needs.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors to gather accurate data and information promptly.
  • Review supplier inputs for discrepancies and escalate issues for resolution as necessary.
  • Utilize spreadsheets and other tools to compile and present detailed material pricing reports to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records in the quoting software to ensure consistency and reliability in data.
  • Work under the guidance of the Quote Manager, collaborating with team members to ensure precise material quotes.
  • Keep organized electronic and physical files for future reference and assist in monthly reporting as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and health regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Experience in electronics purchasing or contract manufacturing is advantageous, particularly in supply chain management or electronics component distribution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to read and comprehend customer Bills of Materials, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with software applications such as Agile, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and QuoteWin is a plus.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
