As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Upstate University Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients. You will also offer clear and effective instruction within your area of expertise to students in the Colleges of Medicine and Graduate Studies and house staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients
- Offer clear and effective instruction to students and house staff
- Promote high-quality research and maintain regular publications
- Consult and collaborate with colleagues
- Facilitate the goals of Upstate University Hospital
- Participate in hospital and departmental governance, curriculum development, administration, and medical service group meetings
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- MD or foreign equivalent
- NYS license or eligible
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Previous experience with general medicine patients in an academic healthcare setting
**Work Environment:**
- Monday through Friday daytime hours
**Compensation:**
- DOQ
