Job Summary
The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Program Coordinator. This position will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and providing direct care in the agency's OBOT treatment program for individuals with opioid use disorders and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the work of clinical staff treating substance-abusing clients at the agency's main clinic and in the mobile unit.
- Facilitate weekly and monthly staffing meetings for the OBOT interdisciplinary team.
- Support clinical staff in developing group curricula and interventions utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Oversee financial budgeting, including monitoring of funding grants, fee collection procedures, and reviewing staff requisitions.
- Plan treatment schedules, assign caseloads, and approve staff schedules and leave.
- Act as a liaison with community officials, groups, and other agencies regarding program activities.
- Provide direct care to individuals, conduct diagnostic assessments, obtain collateral data, develop diagnosis and treatment plans, and conduct group, individual, and family therapy sessions.
- Provide case management and crisis intervention services as necessary.
- Prepare and review client progress notes, other records, and reports.
- Conduct chart audits to ensure documentation compliance within the program.
- Consult with representatives of other agencies or programs regarding agency OBOT programming and maintain relevant contracts.
- Identify program gaps and pursue solutions, including grant funding and increasing access to services.
- Provide training to community agencies on issues related to opioid use treatment.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze appropriate evaluation methodologies for program evaluation.
- Oversee the collection and submission of GPRA surveys for SOR grant.
- Develop and coordinate outreach efforts to educate high-risk populations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related Behavioral Sciences field, with extensive clinical work experience and supervisory experience in the treatment of those impacted by substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.
Licensure and Certifications
The candidate must hold an unrestricted license as a LCSW, LPS, LMFT, LCP, or LSATP, and a valid VA driver's license.
