Requirements:
Must be licensed in the state of Oregon and have a strong local presence.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care through H&Ps, medication management, discharges, and admissions in the inpatient hospital setting.
Offer general medical ambulatory care services to patients through the medical clinic, including rounding units to see patients with mental or physical limitations.
Interpret audiograms, EKGs, lab results, and other studies as needed.
Provide telephone consultations to other staff physicians on general medicine topics.
Collaborate with unit psychiatrists to prevent metabolic syndrome and treat metabolic complications.
