Line Cook

Highway Inn, a renowned 75-year-old Hawaiian and local food restaurant, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen crew. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

• Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of dishes on the grill and using commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring high-quality presentation and consistency.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment, adhering to Highway Inn's protocols and standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and rotate stock, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues to provide prompt and high-quality guest service.

• 1-2 years of cooking experience, preferably with Hawaiian and local dishes.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attendance record and positive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with hot and sharp equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
