Warehouse Loader

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Loader to join our team at G & J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for building and loading pallets of product to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Builds pallets of product accurately by identifying the correct location and quantity of product requested on build sheets.
• Utilizes mechanical equipment to load pallets onto trucks, ensuring each pallet is loaded correctly onto the correct truck as requested on build sheets.
• Adheres to all company policies, standards, and procedures, including OSHA and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, and Federal/State/Local laws.
• Stacks products and builds pallets according to established standards to ensure stability and safety of pallets.
• Communicates with coworkers, supervisors, and management team verbally regarding the status of work activities and other information.
• Maintains cleanliness and assists in the organization of the warehouse.
• Completes equipment safety checklists, build sheet forms, time-off requests, and other required paperwork according to established standards.
• Notifies restocker of stock outages to replenish product on staging racks.
• Trains new employees to perform Warehouse Loader job duties.

Requirements:

• High School or GED
• 0-1 years of material handling experience in a warehouse environment; previous food/beverage warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse/food distribution environment and beverage industry
• Ability to count accurately, read and write, work independently, and communicate effectively
