We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Family Practice Center.
About the Role:
- As a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will work under the supervision of a physician to provide high-quality patient care and services.
- You will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, gathering data, and implementing treatment plans.
- Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in the care and evaluation of patients
- Perform and record history and physical examinations
- Order laboratory and imaging studies under physician supervision
- Inform physicians of patient condition changes
- Triaging and requesting support services as needed
- Meet CME requirements and perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as directed
- Record and interpret electrocardiograms, collect specimens, and perform other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Education: BS or Masters Degree
- Certification/Licensure: NCCPA Board Certification
- Typical Physical Demands: Sitting and standing for extended periods, adapting to a fast-paced office environment, and lifting or positioning patients
